Celebrate Independence Day with a leisurely train ride along Casco Bay. The Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad will be running trains in celebration of the Independence Day holiday. Daytime festivities include patriotic music on board the train and holiday crafts inside the museum.
If you are unable to join us during the daytime festivities, join us in the evening to catch a ride on our special fireworks express train. For a fee of only $3, the railroad will be offering transportation to the fireworks on the Eastern Promenade. The train will shuttle between Ocean Gateway and Cutter Street beginning at 4:30pm and ending a 7:30pm.
Throughout the daytime and evening, our train hosts will be handing out balloons and American Flags to children to celebrate the spirit of the day.
