Keeping MNG on Track
Meet the folks who keep the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad on Track:
Allison Tevsh Zittel (right) is Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer and Christina Aliquo (left) is Visitor Services Manager.
Allison graduated with a B.A. degree from Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin. She has a strong background in the museum field working most recently as the Visitor Service Director at Wade House Historic Site, a site owned and operated by the Wisconsin Historical Society. Allison started her museum career at Wade House, an 1850’s stagecoach inn, as a tour guide, and has worked in many capacities including program planning, event administration, visitor services, historic interpretation, and more. She has a strong passion for history and hopes to use her extensive background in customer service and management to further enhance the visitor experience at the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad. She is most excited to be working alongside a passionate and dedicated crew of volunteers at the railroad, all of whom provide and endless source of inspiration through their unwavering commitment to the organization.
Christina graduated with a B.F.A. degree from New York University. She came to the museum with an extensive history in administrative support and retail management, including owning and operating her own gift shop in Portsmouth, NH. She
was also an active volunteer in the community of Portsmouth, prior to moving to
Maine in 2009. She has a passion for history, writing, the arts and for photography – all of which she is able to apply to her job at the Museum. She is regularly inspired by the generosity and dedication of the Museum’s volunteers and hopes to mirror their positive energy.
