Hours of Operation (Regular Season Only/May-October): The museum is open 10am-4pm.  Trains run on the hour at 10am, 11am, Noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.  Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before the hour – trains depart on time!  Note: Our Diesel Engine is in operation most days.  Check out the Steam Schedule for steam dates during the regular season.

Train Tickets                                                                                                                           Adults-$10  |  Seniors-$9  |  Children (Age 3-12)-$6  |  Children (2 & Under)-Free              Train ticket includes museum admission & tickets are good all day.  Train ride is approximately 35 minutes long.

Family Pass For just $100 a family of four can enjoy unlimited train rides and visits to the museum for a full calendar year.  A substantial savings!  Check out the Annual Pass page for more information.

Group Tours:  We welcome group visits! Group rates (for train ride and museum visit) are:  $9 per adult/$8 per senior/$5 per child.  Group rates available with advanced reservations only.  Please call ahead to book your group visit.  We can accommodate most any size group.  We are handicap-accessible.

Directions: From I 295 (North or South) – Take Franklin Street Arterial (Exit 7).  Turn Left on Fore Street.  The museum is located at 58 Fore Street in the Portland Company complex on the right hand side.
